Jingle Juice
Ingredients:
5 cups orange juice
1 cup vodka
1/3 cup orange liqueur
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
Garnish: Fruit-flavored candy cane sticks,
cherries with stems, orange and lemon
slices.
Instructions: Stir together orange juice
and next 4 ingredients; serve over ice.
Aunt Kat's Creamy Eggnog
Ingredients:
1 quart milk
12 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup to 1 1/2 cups bourbon*
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg, divided
1 quart whipping cream
Instructions: Heat milk in a large
saucepan over medium heat. (Do not
boil.)
Beat eggs and salt at medium speed
with an electric mixer until thick and
pale; gradually add sugar, beating well.
Gradually stir about one-fourth of hot
milk into egg mixture; add to remaining
hot milk, stirring constantly.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring
constantly, 25 to 30 minutes or until
milk mixture thickens and reaches
160°.
Stir in bourbon, vanilla, and 1/4
teaspoon nutmeg. Remove from heat,
and cool. Cover and chill up to 2 days.
Beat whipping cream at medium speed
with an electric mixer until soft peaks
form. Fold whipped cream into milk
mixture. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4
teaspoon nutmeg before serving.
Peppermint Patty
Ingredients:
1 shot White Godiva liqueur
1 shot White Crème de Menthe
1/2 shot Green Crème de Menthe
Garnish: Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
Instructions: Combine White Godiva
Liqueur and White Crème de Menthe
and shake. Float 1/2 shot Green
Crème de Menthe and drizzle
chocolate syrup on top.
Ultimate Alexander
Ingredients:
1/4 cup cold brewed coffee
2 pts. coffee ice cream
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
Garnish: Sweetened whipped cream,
chocolate curls, and milk chocolate
sticks
Instructions: Process cold brewed
coffee, ice cream, brandy, and
chocolate syrup in a blender until
smooth, stopping to scrape down
sides. Pour mixture into glasses, and
garnish, if desired. Serve immediately.
Red Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1 ounce Campari
2 ounces brandy
3 ounces whole milk
2 tablespoons chocolate chips (at
least 55% cocoa)
Garnish: Cinnamon stick or a green
apple
Instructions: Put milk in a frothing cup
and froth as you would for a
cappuccino. When milk is hot, add
chocolate and stir vigorously until
completely melted. Add Campari and
brandy and pour into mug.
Mint and Chip Cocktail
Ingredients:
3/4 ounce Mount Gay Eclipse Rum
3/4 ounce Marie Brizard White
Crème de Cacao
3/4 ounce Marie Brizard Green
Crème de Menthe
3/4 ounce Half-n-Half cream
Garnish: Fresh mint crown and
shaved chocolate flakes
Instructions: In an ice filled mixing
glass, add above ingredients, Shake
vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail
glass.
Candy Cane Martini
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounce(s) vodka
1 teaspoon(s) Peppermint Schnapps
Crushed candy canes, for rimming
the glass
Garnish: Candy cane
Instructions: Mix all ingredients with
ice in a shaker. Strain into a chilled
cocktail glass. Garnish with a small
candy cane or create a candy cane
"rimmer" with crushed candy canes.
Jingle Bell Julep
Ingredients:
1 ounce Maker's Mark Bourbon
1/2 ounce raspberry liqueur
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
Garnish: Fresh mint
Instructions: Muddle ingredients and
serve over crushed ice.
S'mores Martini
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces Maker's Mark Bourbon
1 1/2 ounces Butterscotch Schnapps
1 ounce Godiva chocolate
Dash of cream
Marshmellow Fluff, for rimming the
glass
Graham cracker crumbs, for rimming
the glass
Instructions: Coat the rim of a martini
glass with Marshmallow Fluff. You may
need to add some water to the
Marshmallow Fluff in order to get the
consistency to coat the rim. Once rim is
coated with Marshmallow Fluff, coat
the rim once again with graham
cracker crumbs. Add all liquor and
cream into a martini shaker filled with
ice and shake vigorously before
pouring into decorated martini glass.
